What are your outside interests outside the studio?
I love everything outdoors, including a week(end) of skiing with friends, playing at the beach in Fire Island and hiking through the Indian Summer.

Where’s your favorite space to rejuvenate in the city?
During the summer, I love hanging out at the Pier i Café in Riverside Park South, watching families with their little kids and dogs during sunset with a chilled microbrew. On other days, I like getting lost in NYC walking any streets I haven’t yet explored and taking a break in a lively coffee shop along the way.

Favorite pre- and post-yoga snacks/meals:
Pre – Avocado toast with hot chili pepper and everything nuts with dark chocolate. Post – Shakshouka – a delicious Middle Eastern dish of eggs poached in a sauce of tomatoes, chili peppers, herbs and spices.

What’s your favorite pose?
Half Moon Pose. It makes me feel free and wide open; like I’m ready to fly!

The pose I have a complicated relationship with:
Forearm Stand.

What song can you put on repeat?
Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley.

I love:
traveling, sunflowers and anything spicy.

I want:
to adopt a German Shepard Mutt.

Yoga gives me:
a “yoga high.”

When I was little I wanted to be:
a veterinarian.

I want to change:
less social media, more real life interactions.

I want to give:
inspiration.

When I wake up I:
stretch my body and breathe deep.

When I teach I feel:
happy, energized and connected.

When I practice I get:
real, present SUPER alive!
