What song can you put on repeat?
This is the toughest question! Ready or Not by The Fugees is about as good as it gets.
connecting, laughing, sweating.
Big love, big joy, fulfillment.
Yoga gives me:
a testing ground where I can connect with myself as perfectly imperfect.
When I was little I wanted to be:
I vacillated between crime scene investigator, lawyer, professor and Rihanna.
I want to change:
the perception that people have about yoga – that it’s about becoming a perfect person or perfect body or spirituality. It’s a celebration of the full range of human experience and everything that includes.
I want to give:
my students permission to express themselves through moving their bodies.
When I wake up I:
chug water, then chug coffee.
When I teach I feel:
super f**king connected and grateful.
When I practice I get:
to play and love and dance and sweat.
