Where do you live?
Still in NJ…I’m from a family of 8 children and we are really close. Almost all of us live walking distance from each other!

Training/Certifications;
RYT 500, Baptiste Certified Instructor; Baptiste Levels 1, 2, & 3 (2013-16); Art of Assisting, Advanced Art Of Assisting (2013-16); Level 1 Assisting Team (2016); Baptiste Fit to Lead (2017-18)

# of years teaching yoga:
I’ve been teaching yoga for almost 4 years. I started teaching after I graduated college. I also teach barre in NJ.

Do you have a second professional life?:
Now I’m yoga 24/7. I used to work in an outside sales role and teach yoga before and after work. I was at Level 2 in Menla, NY when I decided to quit my day job to pursue yoga full time. Make space for something new!

What are your outside interests outside the studio?
I love to spend quality time with my family and friends.

Favorite pre- and post-yoga snacks/meals:
Pre – some fruit and definitely some coffee. Post – I’ll anything and everything as long as it’s vegetarian. I also LOVE Mexican food, including Qdoba.

What’s your favorite pose?
Half Moon because it’s challenging and playful.

The pose I have a complicated relationship with:
Standing Leg Raise. I was an athlete who never stretched! I found yoga as a college basketball player. I thought touching my toes would forever be impossible. Some days I still feel like there is glue in my hamstrings, but anything worthwhile takes time right?!

What song can you put on repeat?
Hey Ma by Cam’Ron.

I love:
to sweat!

I want:
to create community.

Yoga gives me:
superhuman powers.

When I was little I wanted to be:
I wanted to be: in the WNBA.

I want to give:
yoga to everyone!

When I wake up I:
get coffee first, always.

When I teach I feel:
inspired.

When I practice I get:
energized & SO sweaty.
