Do you have a second professional life?:
I am a Nutrition Coach and specialize in weight loss and anxiety management.

What are your outside interests outside the studio?
I am extremely passionate about all things fitness. I love moving my body and getting sweaty in fun and different ways every day. I also constantly create healthy recipes in my kitchen. I am an avid traveler and will happily go anywhere that involves being a beach or ski bum. I love vino (red, of course) and adore my 80-pound pup Captain Jack.

Where’s your favorite space to rejuvenate in the city?
Washington Square Park. I love going there with my dog. I could sit on the bench for hours soaking up the sun while listening to local musicians jamming out. It is such a vibrant spot in NYC and always makes me feel so grateful to be a New Yorker.

Favorite pre- and post-yoga snacks/meals:
Favorite pre-yoga snack would be a matcha latte for a boost of energy and a spoonful of sunflower butter. Favorite post-yoga meal would be a fully-loaded smoothie with some kind of plant-based protein, avocados, chia seeds and cacao.

What’s your favorite pose?
Forearm Balance – it took me forever to really nail this pose, and now whenever I do it I feel so strong and empowered.

The pose I have a complicated relationship with:
Half Moon Pose. I can really get into my head in this pose and lose balance quite a bit. Some days I have it and some days I don’t…it’s just like that sometimes.

What song can you put on repeat?
Hey Ma by Cam’ron.

I love:
laughing, chocolate, and vino.

I want:
to spread happiness.

Yoga gives me:
courage, strength and bliss.

When I was little I wanted to be:
an actress, veterinarian, or CIA operative.

I want to change:
the concept of what “normal” is. Normalcy is boring – dare to be different.

I want to give:
my students a safe space to come as they are.

When I wake up I:
contemplate…coffee or matcha?

When I teach I feel:
connected and happy.

When I practice I get:
creative, playful and present.
